BOULEVARDE DRIVING SCHOOL & DRIVER EDUCATION

Boulevarde Driving School offers driving lessons to anyone who wishes to drive a motor vehicle in the state of New South Wales. We offer tuition in either automatic or manual vehicles. A standard driving lesson as 0f 1/7/19 costs $70 and 5 & 10 lesson packages are available. All driving instructors are highly experienced, have excellent people skills and very friendly. Areas covered range from Cronulla to Sutherland in the south east and from Menai to Liverpool in the south west. Give us a call straight away to organise your next driving lesson.

COVID-19

In these challenging times we remain committed to providing a safe learning environment for our students.

Although the safest health practice at present is to remain at home, some students may require ongoing driving tuition, and older people may require aged assessments. Whilst we are safely and legally able to do so, we will continue to offer tuition to those who seek it.

We are constantly monitoring our instructors to ensure that they display no flu-like symptoms, or have not had any direct contact with anyone who has. We are sanitising vehicles at the commencement and completion of each lesson, and asking each client at each lesson about any potential symptoms they may have, or their exposure to others with symptoms or overseas travel.

We are happy to postpone lessons prior to, or at the time of the lesson, if clients are unwell, cautious or concerned, or have any potential symptoms or exposure relevant to COVID-19 or other ailments. Our instructors are also happy to discuss lessons and options with clients.

Boulevarde Driver Education is so committed to educating people on road safety that we will come to a venue and talk about all aspects of driving a motor vehicle in the state of New South Wales. We will happily talk to Seniors Groups, High School students, Learner Drivers and anyone else who has an interest.

We are currently involved in The NSW Traffic Offenders Program situated in the Sutherland Shire as well as teaching Low Risk and Defensive Driving courses in Sydney and throughout Australia. For further details please see our Useful Links page.

SAFER DRIVERS COURSE

Learner drivers in NSW who have completed a minimum 50 hours of actual driving are now eligible to register for the Safer Drivers Course, a course designed to address road safety risks faced by young drivers. This course consists of a 3 hour in-class session and a subsequent 2 hour in-car coaching session. Upon completion of this course participants will be credited with 20 hours in their logbooks.

The course cost has been set at $140 to participants. Courses are being run in varying locations with more areas to be added towards the end of 2013. Further information and booking details can be found at www.rms.nsw.gov.au or at http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/geared/index.html

DIGITAL LOGBOOKS

Digital log books have now been introduced into NSW and can now be downloaded onto your phone or tablet. Digital Log Books are available in both iOS and Android. They can take the place of the paper based log book and make it easier to record supervised driving lessons. All information is stored in the cloud so if you loose or replace your phone the information is easily retrieved. The Digital Log Book is a set and forget system. Once you have entered the required information before you start driving you will not need to touch your phone until the end of the lesson. Remember, it is illegal for a learner driver to use or to touch a phone whilst driving.

There are 3 versions of the Digital Log Book available. They are Roundtrip, L2P and LicenceReady
